Stellarvisions was charged with creating an identity program that would be flexible and cooperate with the segd brand identity. The Society for Environmental Graphic Design gathers each year to honor members outstanding work and provide exposure to technical advances in the industry.

Each year the conference and expo are held in a different city. The theme is related to the culture and physical nature of the location. The Austin conference co-chairs Steve Stamper and Leslie Wolke, fd2s, gathered a cigar box full of ideas which informed the design.
The conference identity, interplay, expresses the contrast and contradictions of the city of Austin.
